Auditory Object Sequences – is one of a group of activities that help build an individual’s auditory short-term memory. This is your working memory. Information has to first be brought in and manipulated in an individual’s short-term (working) memory. After that, the information can be stored in long-term memory. The Novice Level offers younger children more basic and common words and limits the number of syllable in each word to make the training sessions easier than the Pro Level. The Pro Level offers older children and adults more advanced and multi-syllable words to make the auditory training sessions more challenging than the Novice Level.
Instructions include basic and a more accelerated technique for this auditory “game”. The set of cards will be shipped to you and includes 220 cards with one word on each card. The cards can be shuffled to produce thousands of sequence combinations. It is recommended that you play the auditory games twice a day for two minutes leaving at least 10 minutes between each game. Over time this will significantly increase an individual’s auditory short-term memory skills. See benefits below.

Unfortunately, with today’s emphasis on developing visual abilities; we are finding more and more people having difficulty in retaining information due to their lack of auditory processing practice! Auditory processing also has a direct correlation to the negative symptoms on the ADD/ADHD checklist.
What you can’t hold in short term memory; cannot be stored in long-term memory, so the Auditory Object Sequences are a wonderful exercise for the whole family! With improved memory; learning becomes easier!
